Distybase duo
· Support of 2 analogue lines attached to the same switch site
· Expandable up to 8 handsets
GAP is supported. Features are controlled via codes.
· adjustable line priority for each HS
(Use both lines - whichever is free
OR use only line 1
OR use only line 2)
· adjustable ring priority for each HS
(Ring on incoming call on both lines - default
OR ring only on incoming call on line 1
OR ring only on incoming call on line 2)
· call barring for each HS
(All calls allowed - default
OR no calls starting with “00” allowed
OR no calls starting with “0” allowed
OR only internal calls allowed)
· Direct inward dialing ( DID )
An incoming call is routed to a specific handset (HS). Each handset has a number 1..8 (=> internal
number, which is user-selectable on handset registration). Upon an incoming call, the basestation takes
the call and the calling external party will hear a special dial tone. Now the calling external party can
dial the internal number of the handset by sending its DTMF code. The requested handset will start to ring.
If the internal number is not dialed within 5 seconds or is wrong, the feature ring priority (see above) will
be used instead.
If on one line the base waits for reception of the DTMF tone, an incoming call on the other line is not
taken. This will be done immediately after the reception of the DTMF tone on the first line, at latest after 5
seconds when the DID timeout occurred.
The feature is programmable and can be enabled via a special code.
Default it is disabled. In this case the handsets will start ringing regarding to their ring priority.
· 2 external and 1 internal call can be in use simultaneously
Author BHA Date 10.03.04 Page 2 of 2
· Call transfer
transferring an external call to another HS.
Call back, if call transfer is not answered.
· Call waiting from external line while in connection with internal or the other external line
The called party will hear an indication tone. She/ he can close the active connection, wait until the HS
starts ringing and take the waiting call. Or put the active connection on hold, take the waiting call and
toggling between both by means of using the “internal” key.
· One handset can handle 2 external calls
(see call waiting above).
· CLIP Type 1 (Caller ID FSK ETSI)
No CLIP info will be supplied, if CLIP is sent on both lines simultanoeusly within 500ms. If DID is enabled,
during the inward dialing phase, no CLIP info from the other line will be supplied.
· Internal calls between handsets
· Dial mode DTMF
· Dialling of Pause
· Paging/ Registration Key
Pressing the key will let all reachable HS ring, to find lost HS.
Pressing the key for longer than 3 sec will start enabling registration.
Pressing the key for 10 sec during power up the basestation will delete the registration entry of all HS.
· LED for signalling
Hook switch = static on; registration enabled = blinking; otherwise = off
· Busy Tone detection
425 Hz tone frequency, pulse duration 200 – 550 ms
· Flash, short (100 ms) or long (200 ms) flash. Long flash is default.
Register recall, ‘R’ key.
